Ahmed Abdel-Khalek
Transportation/Planner-Engineer

Ahmed has been working with CRPC since 2012. His role as a transportation engineer and planner is to help CRPC with numerous transportation activities, including updating the regional transportation model, analyzing congestion data, and updating the pavement management system. He also created transportation asset management system for the Capital Region. 

With more than ten years of experience in the field of transportation engineering, Ahmed obtained his Professional Engineering license and Professional Transportation planner certificate. He received a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from LSU in 2011. Prior to moving to Louisiana, Ahmed worked two years in Egypt after getting his Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from Cairo University
